Our fund

Designed for NZ investors

The Bitcoin ETF PIE Fund is specifically built to allow NZ investors to access exposure to the performance of bitcoin.

This means the fund is:

A Portfolio Investment Entity (PIE) fund, meaning it is a managed fund that offers tax-efficient returns to NZ investors.

Issued by FundRock NZ under a NZ regulated MIS licence and regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) of NZ.

Available for investment through major third-party online investment platforms accessible to NZ investors.

Available for investment through the NZ financial adviser network which is also regulated and licensed by the NZ FMA.

Supervised by the Public Trust a NZ based Fund Supervisor.

Asset classes

Raise is looking to offer managed funds in asset classes that are more challenging administratively or more complex and potentially ineffective from a NZ tax perspective.

A great example of this is the current flagship Bitcoin ETF PIE Fund that provides exposure to the performance of bitcoin but inside a NZ PIE managed fund investment vehicle and available through both financial advisers and online investment platforms.

The Raise team is currently exploring other asset classes that meet the specific mission set out, so watch this space.

Bitcoin ETF PIE Fund

The Bitcoin ETF PIE Fund provides a simple, smart, trusted way to invest in bitcoin

A simple, smart, and trusted way for Kiwis to get exposure to the performance of bitcoin.

It’s an easy way to get exposure to this asset class. The Fund invests in US Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) which in turn invest in bitcoin.

This means investors get exposure to the price movements of bitcoin without the administration and tax hassles associated with investing directly via a crypto exchange.

If you’re interested in investing in bitcoin but have been put off by the complexity of purchasing and storing digital assets yourself, we’ve made it simple for you.
